Voices of New England is a non-auditioned community chorus made up of high school students, college students and adults from New England who come together to participate in international performances for appreciative audiences.  In December 2018, the group traveled to Vienna and Salzburg, Austria to perform during the last week of the world-famous Advent Sing Festival. The group performed in such distinguished venues as the Festival Hall of Vienna's City Hall, St. Peter's Church and Melk Abbey, culminating in a once-in-a-lifetime performance opportunity in Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg on Christmas Day with Elisabeth von Trapp, granddaughter of Baron and Maria von Trapp and daughter of the Baron's middle son, Werner, known worldwide as "Kurt" from the famous Rodgers & Hammerstein musical "The Sound of Music." The group was directed by Carroll Stevens, accompanied by Philip Pampreen on organ, Joseph Stevens on piano and Susie Stevens on violin.

Join the group on their journey through this blog, where we will post photos, videos and anecdotes as we share our love of music with the world!  Until then, auf Wiedersehen und Frohe Weihnachten!
